Will Katrina be as successful with Bobby as Akshay

After a stupendous hit with Akshay Kumar in Namaste London Katrina is all set to be seen with another Punjab da puttar in Apne.

“And you know what? Bobby Deol during Apne was as much fun as Akshay,” laughs the fair maiden who will also be seen in David Dhawan’s Partner in July, though not with Salman Khan. It’s Govinda who partners Katrina in David’s goofy comedy.
It’s been five years in the industry for Katrina. “I’m happy with what I’m doing. Namaste London changed the direction of my career. It was a huge step forward. After doing this woman-oriented film there was a wider acceptance for me. Not that acceptance was hard. I feel if you do a decent job, you get recognition. I’ve been getting my dues from the start.”

Katrina attributes the success of Namaste London to the characterization and good dialogues. “And we were working with a bound script. That was what worked. Not the fact that I played a Londoner. I played one in Sarkar too. But just because I grew up in London it isn’t easier for me to play a Londoner.”
