Born on September 11, 1979, Tulip Joshi is a successful Indian supermodel and an actor. Her father is a Hindu while her mother is a Lebanese Christian. Her modeling career started when she participated in Femina Miss India Contest in 2000. She did not make it to the list of winners, but was noticed by many advertising agencies. Tulip’s entry to Bollywood was actually quite accidental. She was a friend of Aditya Chopra’s wife and was noticed by the Chopra family at the wedding. She was then given an offer to star in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai opposite to Aditya Chopra.
