Preity brought to heel

Preity Zinta had a tough time on the sets of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, courtesy her aggressive co-star Lara Dutta. So much so that Preity had cuts on her feet that took a week to heal. While filming a song sequence on the first day of shoot, Preity had to bear the brunt of Lara’s stilettoes. The story goes that Lara had dug her pointed stiletto in Preity’s foot that left her yelping, resulting in a deep cut.

Says our witness, “We were filming this particular portion. The ladies were in full swing and suddenly Preity screamed in pain. She was bleeding. Of course, Lara’s killer stilettoes were to be blamed. But it was an accident and they had good laugh over it the next day.”

Preity, however, had to retire to her vanity van for the rest day. She could resume shooting only the next day, after much medication. “I was dancing and suddenly I felt this piercing pain in my foot and I looked down. Lara’s 5 inch heel made a hole in my foot and I went aaahhhhhhhh,” says Preity.
