Lara Dutta opts out of Anil Kapoor’s film

Actress Lara Dutta will not be part of Anil Kapoor’s remake film. She was supposed to play main lead in Anil Kapoor’s Hindi remake of the Malyalam film Udayananu Tharam. Lara chose to opt out because of some ‘date problems’.

According to Anil Kapoor, the film was supposed to start in January but due to certain reasons it will now go on floor in May. He further adds that he is also working on Subhash Ghai’s forthcoming film Black and White in Jan and Feb. Therefore, he had to postpone his film.

This Hindi remake of Malayalam film Udayananu Tharam stars Akshay Khanna and Arshad Warsi main lead. Akshay plays a role of a struggling assistant film director while Arshad will be seen in successful actor’s role. Anil will also be a part of this film. He will be a surprise package of the film.
